2010 Writing Competition Winners

Poetry Category
1st place - Betsy Struthers for "Family Matters"
2nd place - Sheila Stewart for "Let Her"
3rd place - Dee Hobsbawn-Smith for "girl!talk"
Honorable Mentions go to Jim Nason for "Coupled" and Catherine Owen for "Migrations"
Short Fiction Category
1st place - Ben Hart for "Driving to Climax"
2nd place - Alexis Kienlen for "Snapshot"
3rd place - Elizabeth Harmer for "Dying Media"
Honorable Mentions go to Karen Kachra for "The Killing Jar" and Shari Narine for "Hidden in the Rain"
The winning entries will be available as a chapbook collection this fall; we'll be sure to post when they are printed.
