Nino Ricci

Nino Ricci’s books have appeared on 9 Best Books lists, including The New York Times and England’s Times Literary Supplement. His first novel, Lives of the Saints, won the Governor General’s Literary Award for Fiction and was made into a motion picture starring Sophia Loren. He has been shortlisted for the Scotiabank Giller Prize, and won the Trillium Book Award (Testament) and the Governor General’s and Canadian Authors Association Awards (The Origin of the Species), as well as writing awards in the UK and France. He has been recognized with the Order of Canada for his contributions to literature. He lives in Toronto.
