Christine Fischer Guy is a novelist and award-winning journalist who has lived and worked in London, England. Her debut novel, The Umbrella Mender, appeared in September 2014 with Wolsak & Wynn (Buckrider Books). Christine’s fiction has appeared in Descant, Prairie Fire, and The Austin Review and has been nominated for the Writer’s Trust/McClelland & Stewart Journey Prize. She is a fiction critic for The Globe and Mail and contribute to the LA Review of Books, The Millions and Ryeberg.com, and teaches creative writing at the School for Continuing Studies at the University of Toronto.
Christine currently lives in Toronto with her husband and two children.
