Anakana Schofield

Anakana Schofield won the Amazon.ca First Novel Award and the Debut-Litzer Prize for Fiction in 2013 for her debut novel Malarky. She has contributed criticism and essays to the London Review of Books Blog, The Guardian and The Irish Times. Her newest book, Martin John, received glowing reviews from Maclean’s, The Globe & Mail, and The National Post, among others, and was shortlisted for the 2015 Scotiabank Giller Prize. She lives and writes in Vancouver, BC.
